What began as a quaint roadside stand in 1924 has developed into a full-blown yearly market serving the Wichita area with delicious produce and old world charm. When the farm closed in 2017, it sat for nearly two years, waiting for the next owner to bring it to life. Now, Cox Farm is open year-round, offering seasonal produce, Kansas beef and cheese, seasonings, honey, and other goods and specialty items. This family-friendly environment opens September 23. According to their website, the 2023 season includes “everything you can imagine from corn cribs, playgrounds, corn cannons, maze, bounce houses, train rides, and more.” With a variety of photo opportunities, this iconic location is a sure way to grow some extra fun in the harvest season.
