The traveling exhibit, Chisholm Trail Sesquicentennial: Driving the American West 1867-2017, opens March 9 at the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum, featuring interactives, interviews, video and audio clips and life-sized longhorn cattle. “The cowboy became an iconic figure in the American imagination," says director Eric Cale.

Timing is everything

and in this issue Shocker point guard Landry Shamet opened up to Joe Stumpe about a key factor going into March Madness: every individual on the team peaking at the right moment. Another man focused on timing is Scott Childs, owner of Old Time Clock Shop, where just setting his clocks forward this month will take three hours. We also have runway-worthy fashion, shot at Eisenhower Airport, and Fetch Bistro, where you can give your dog a whole lot more than just a bone.
